  • As the Marketing and Resource Development Executive for the US Olympic Shooing Team, turned a business losing money into a significantly profitable and successful organization for the Unites States Olympic Committee.
  • Drove a sleepy 15-person sight company to a 50-person firearm component and sight manufacturing company working for industry leading firearms manufacturers in 18 months.  Built a state-of-the-art, in house, manufacturing capability to manufacture all components and sights also in 18 months
  • Started an oil and gas company in Australia that became an 8-million-dollar business that had a 90% market share in its business segment in 2 years
  • Launched and managed two successful brands in the Michaels of Oregon stable that allowed them to regain significant market share from aggressive competitors with 20% EBIT performance
  • Marketed and managed 8 brands for Armor Accessories doing $40 million annually in sales increasing EBITA 25% while developing and implementing marketing strategies resulting in 15-20% market share growth
  • As newly appointed Chairman and CEO of TENERA a 400 person, publicly traded (listed on the American Stock Exchange) nuclear energy consulting company, successful restructured business to be a category industry leader within 12 months of joining
  • Hosted Hunter Handbook television as well as appearing in youth-hunting episodes of Americana Outdoors airing on NBC Sports and other outdoor channels while building sponsorship relationships that donated a quarter of a million dollars to the IHEA and the future of safe hunting
  • As VP of Sales and Marketing identified under-performing international and regional rep groups, restructured the rep groups bringing in an additional $175,000 in sales in two quarters while leveraging industry relationships that opened doors for millions of dollars of expanded OEM business.  Developed outbound communications programs and advertising plans that gained unprecedented press coverage at for the business
  • Current contributing board member on the International Hunter Education Foundation board
  • As President and COO grew a private venture capital company from $90,000,000 to $130,000,000 in revenue in 4 years.  Manage portfolio of 13 companies and 1,000 people.  Established one of the world’s first business incubators to leverage entrepreneurial talent into real businesses
  • As Marketing Manager for Crimson Trace Corporation in 1999, set up unprecedented outbound digital communications tools to consumer base setting the company up for strong direct consumer sales for years to come
  • As EVP of Operations and co-founder built and sold this Sensor Technology Systems Engineering company to a large, very successful and profitable, business serving financial institutions world-wide.   Sold the company at a 14 multiple of EBITDA in 1986
  • Vice President of Marketing for this 10th largest bank in the US initiated new product introductions that lead ultimately to what is now Electronic Banking and paperless banking
  • As COO/CFO of a 20-year old sight manufacturing company established relationships with large firearms OEM’s that allowed awards of multi-year, multi-million-dollar US Military contracts, the first military contracts for this company
  • Joined the US Army out of high school, tested well, was sent to Officer Training School, graduated in the top 5% of the 280-person class and the youngest member of the class.  Stationed in Germany, promoted to 1st Lieutenant and Battery Commander of a 175mm Gun battery, the youngest commanding officer in the US Army in Europe at the time
